A Master Gardener class is offered to those interested in learning more about horticulture and that enjoys giving back to the community.

The application period for the 2023 Master Garden class has closed. To be added to a future interest list, please contact the Bourbon County Extension Office at 859-987-1895.

The program focuses on different aspects of horticulture and the Cooperative Extension Service through weekly educational sessions.Program participants are required to do 40 hours community service to be considered a Master Gardener. Since this is a volunteer program through the University of Kentucky, a background check will be done on all participants.
